Pastor Dennis Mantooth was born in Long Beach, Ca, in 1952. At the age of 18, he began serving in a number of ways in his local church. His early service included working in Sunday School and weekly ministry at a hospital for physically handicapped children. Under the leadership and guidance of his pastor, he felt and answered the call to ministry at the age of 21 and went on to become a licensed and ordained minister. He married Colleen Clark in 1973 and became an assistant pastor in the Bay Area.

Since then, Pastor Mantooth has been involved in various ways including, speaking at churches throughout the United States and pastoring two prior churches.

In July of 2009, Pastor Mantooth was voted in as Pastor of Apostolic Tabernacle of Lamont.
